• Center for Humanitarian Health: Conducted a global organization review for expertise in disasters, looking at international response plans and efforts towards pandemic infectious disease outbreaks

• Global mHealth Initiative: Identified factors underpinning RMNCH+ factors by creating a validated phone survey tool for rapid, routine collection of data in a 5000-women impact evaluation study in India; defined respectful maternity care practices including stigma, discrimination, and health system constraints

• Food for the Hungry: Supervised collection and analysis of field and laboratory data for a 500-household study on baby water, sanitation, and hygiene practices; creation of resource management program and database; trained 20 field and lab assistants in the Democratic Republic of Congo

• Developed iterative human-centered designs, prototypes, and protocols to evaluate water purification capabilities of a low-cost point-of-use water filtration system from origination to execution

• Piloted field studies to gather consumer insights about the viability, feasibility, and desirability of the filtration device and develop business strategies and models in resource-limited settings

• Built relationships with community members, local and national governments, NGOs, private sectors, and other stakeholders to explain the technical ideas and innovations of Folia Water
